Have you been to Costco yet?
Why don’t you ask clerk MUJI no Binsen?
There are so many fine white letter pads there in Japan.
Recently no such big demad of MUJI-BINSEN in Japan. Fashionable one must be more popular. It can be value-added. Plain one is not.
That is very rational but still it is No TABOO but remains a lot.

Otherwise, use cream lined paper.
For letterwriting paper or plain white a4 paper the designgraphic section of stationary shop instead of binsen letterwriting paper when you could ask for either taipu yoshi paper for either taipu yoshi typing paper with lines you could ask for either taipu yoshi typing.
